At this time of year leisure is a major part of our holidays, so in TINO Natural Stone we would like to show you a perfect project to visit this summer. The project which we refer to is James Turrell’s ‘Second Wind’ and located within the NMAC Foundation of the Dehesa de Montenmedio in Vejer de la Frontera, Cádiz.James Turrell is an artist who falls into the Land Art genre. He expresses his vision of space through the creation of his so-called “SkySpaces”, architectural works throughout the world to create intentionally both connections and feelings with the outer space to each one of the visitors. Among them we can find the one which is located in Montenmedio wherein we are collaborating with materials such as Kafe Neo (from the Natura Collection) for the cosmic stupa, Black Granite and Travertino Clásico for the tiling. Here you can view some snapshots of the work.[vc_images_carousel images=”5751,5750″ img_size=”700×600″]As you will notice the projection of light is at the centre on all this artist work and how that one is perceived. We may recommended to visit it in the dusk of the day, when the last rays of sun shape impressive lights in scale on the floor.Fundación NMAC Montenmedio Arte, is a unique space surrounded by nature that has been able to link contemporary art without compromising the natural aesthetics of the Dehesa de Montenmedio. In addition to Second Wind, about twenty permanent and temporary works are on display. With no hesitation we encourage you all to enjoy this full of art and nature place.Amazing project of a recognised value at European and international level in which we are feeling very proud for being able to participate with products from the TINO Natural Stone collection.
