Breakage causes extra cost and loss of time

Aware that the slightest breakage or scratch can lead to cost overruns in the execution of natural stone projects, at TINO Natural Stone, we have developed a packaging system that protects the stone on its journey from the factory to its place of installation.

In turnkey natural stone projects, quality and completion date go hand in hand. It is necessary to reduce the occasions in which damage can waste our time, for example, having to replace a piece for another one that has suffered a mishap.

As we can see in the pictures, the marble slabs, quartzite, etc., are packed in groups according to the project, the number of pieces, their thickness and weight.

The pieces are placed on enveloping wooden safety trestles that act as a “shield” and facilitate their transportation. They are separated by abundant material that cushions any bruisings and prevents them from rubbing or moving.

The assembly is then immobilized to form a compact whole. It is then plasticized, reinforcing the immobilization and especially protecting any edges or protrusions.

Finally, ultra-resistant security tape is applied along the entire length of the package, making it ready for transport.
