Macael White
Macael White
Macael White is a white marble (Calcitic Marble), natural stone. Its typology is coarse-grained and homogeneous in appearance, alternating between white and grey tones. Calcite is the main mineral in the rock (98%), with additional components of quartz, muscovite and opaque minerals.
Macael White marble owes its name to the town of Macael in Almeria (Spain), its extraction site. While in the quarry, it is gently caressed by the Mediterranean atmosphere sharing slopes with olive, fig and almond trees.
Its elegance has made it the protagonist of luxury residences, hotels and historical spaces, including the Alhambra in Granada, the most emblematic palace complex of Andalusian architecture.
World-renowned architects and interior designers know Macael White as the “white gold” and have specifically required it for their projects.
